The Victorian Government’s $200 million Future Industries Fund supports high growth industry sectors that are critical to securing Victoria’s future as a competitive, innovative and outward looking economy. Defence has been identified as one of six industry sectors that have the potential for growth and the capacity to create high skill, high wage jobs.
The Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program is a Future Industries Fund initiative that will support Victorian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) win more domestic and international defence and national security supply chain work.
The Victorian Government is committed to supporting Victoria’s thriving defence industry, creating jobs for Victorians, increasing investment in the State and boosting exports.
WHAT TYPES OF PROJECTS ARE ELIGIBLE?
The Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program can support projects that address business systems and process certifications, tender response assistance and industry specific compliance requirements.
Grants from $2,000 to $50,000 are available under the Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program to assist companies with eligible projects.
All grants must be matched by a minimum cash co-contribution of $1 for every $1 granted.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their project with a representative from the Victorian Defence Procurement Office, their local Victorian Government Business Office or their local Regional Development Victoria office.

The Boost your Business voucher program is designed to help Victorian SMEs improve market access and increase their scale, diversity and profitability.
Grants of $10,000 - $50,000 are available for businesses or organisations with an operating presence in Victoria in relation to: Market Engagement, Innovation, and Business Capability.
There are four different voucher streams available, with the Advanced Victorian Manufacturing Stream most likely to be of interest to defence SMEs. This Stream is designed to help Victorian manufacturers innovate, build scale and grow export capability. Funding applications will be considered in rounds.

The Victorian Government Regional Jobs Fund (RJF) has been set up to facilitate job creation and retain existing jobs. The RJF aims to attract and facilitate investment with a focus on regional competitive disadvantage or high potential businesses.
