The Victorian Government’s $270 million Future Industries Fund supports high growth industry sectors that are critical to securing Victoria’s future as a competitive, innovative and outward looking economy. Defence has been identified as one of six industry sectors that have the potential for growth and the capacity to create high skill, high wage jobs.
The Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program is a Future Industries Fund initiative that supports Victorian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) win more domestic and international defence and national security supply chain work.
Supply chain businesses play a particularly critical role in delivering the country’s biggest defence and aerospace projects. The Victorian Government is committed to supporting Victoria's thriving defence industry, creating jobs for Victorians, increasing investment in the State and boosting exports.
WHAT TYPES OF PROJECTS ARE ELIGIBLE?
The Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program supports capital projects that will assist businesses to meet industry specific compliance requirements.
Up to two grants of up to $100,000 are available under the Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program to assist companies with eligible projects.
All applications must be matched by a minimum cash co-contribution of $1 for every $1 granted.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their project with a representative from the Victorian Defence Procurement Office, their local Victorian Government Business Office or their local Regional Development Victoria office.

The Boost your Business voucher program supports Victorian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to win domestic and international defence, aerospace and national security supply chain work.
There are a number of voucher streams available, with the Defence, Aerospace and Security stream and the Advanced Manufacturing stream most likely to be of interest to defence SMEs.
Funding applications are considered in rounds.
The Boost Your Business vouchers support projects that include activities to help businesses improve their market engagement, innovation and business capability.

The Victorian Government Regional Jobs Fund (RJF) has been set up to facilitate job creation and retain existing jobs. The RJF aims to attract and facilitate investment with a focus on regional competitive disadvantage or high potential businesses.
