The Minister for Industry and Employment today launched the Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program, which is now accepting applications.
The program is a Future Industries Fund initiative that will support Victorian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) win more domestic and international defence and national security supply chain work.
The Victorian Government is committed to supporting Victoria's thriving defence industry, creating jobs for Victorians, increasing investment in the State and boosting exports.
What types of projects are eligible?
The Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program can support projects that address business systems and process certifications, tender response assistance and industry specific compliance requirements.
Grants from $2,000 to $50,000 are available under the Victorian Defence Industry Supply Chain Program to assist companies with eligible projects.
All grants must be matched by a minimum cash co-contribution of $1 for every $1 granted.
