Victoria’s Defence Industry Advocate represents Victoria on defence industry matters, advocates Victoria’s interests to key stakeholders nationally and internationally, and provides the State Government with strategic advice on defence industry-related issues.
Victoria’s first Defence Industry Advocate was Greg Combet AM, who held the role from 4 April 2016 – 30 June 2018.
The Victorian Government is in the process of appointing a new Advocate.
